TRITON ANALYTICS GROUP DEVELOPS IN-STORE BEHAVIORIAL
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY. CONDUCTS PROOF OF CONCEPT STUDY
WITH LEADING HAIR DRYER MANUFACTURER

– Once considered to be cost prohibitive for many clients, Triton Analytics Group has contracted with a leading hair dryer manufacturer to conduct in-store behavioral research. While shoppers generally arrive in the store with some vague idea of the kind of product they need, there are other considerations and purchase drivers that ultimately determine which product a shopper buys. “Our in store behavioral methodology is like no other. We have found a cost effective method of in-store observations that yield superior results, information that is useful, and provides actionable recommendations. Our in store team conducts interviews with multiple shoppers throughout a variety of geographies,” said Chris L’Orange, President and CEO of Triton Analytics Group. Some areas measured included price tolerance, purchase decision criteria, packaging elements, and the role of the display in the purchase process. Mr. L’Orange adds “Consumers like the display when it is available. It gives them a chance to pick up the product and evaluate it on a number of criteria.”

Triton Analytics Group has also developed a unique approach to customer recruitment. Participants are recruited online and must complete a rigorous screening process. This approach allows respondents to be made available in real time to the field team. This lowers the need for over recruitment and the confusion and lost incentives that it can sometimes create. In closing Chris L’Orange comments, “We are very excited about this new product offering. Many of our existing clients have expressed interest in this methodology and what is more important; have referred Triton Analytics Group to their colleagues.”
